Polish Politicians Honor Ignacy Daszyński In Warsaw
A minister and other politicians from the Left party laid flowers at the Ignacy Daszyński monument in Warsaw. The event highlighted his role as a supporter of universal, free education and independence. Speakers noted that Daszyński's historical significance is often overlooked due to a national focus on Russia's role in Polish history. The Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Policy stated that a reform of the state labor inspection will improve employment stability and worker protection. This reform aims to eliminate 400,000 civil law contracts in favor of standard employment contracts where working conditions require it.
