Olivier Fort, the first secretary of the Socialist Party, was targeted during a May Day demonstration in Amiens. Two masked men reportedly threw flour at Fort while he was marching alongside the Nouveau Mère Socialiste. The incident was reported by Ici Picardie. Demonstrators reportedly threw flour at Fort's face and called him a social traitor. Boris Valleau, head of Socialist Party deputies, described the method as unacceptable. The incident occurred alongside a larger demonstration that gathered 4,000 people. One police officer was injured by projectiles during the May 1st events.
