Masked Individuals Attack French Politician In Amiens
Olivier Ford, the leader of the Socialist Party (PS), was attacked by two masked men in Amiens. The incident took place during a May Day parade. The attack was reported by Picardie as well. A cyclist was killed in Amiens after being intentionally struck by a vehicle. According to the Châteauroux prosecutor's office, the driver deliberately projected the cyclist onto the roadside. The driver is currently in police custody. Masked individuals threw flour and shouted insults at French Social Party leader Olivier Faure during a May Day demonstration in Amiens. French law enforcement detained two people following the incident. The attack occurred in northern France during the May 1st celebrations.
