US Intelligence Surveillance Act Extension Approved
The US government approved a 45-day extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The tool would have expired at the end of the day yesterday. Speaker Johnson persuaded holdouts to approve the extension just before the congressional recess began.
