Li Qiang Inspects Guangxi Flood Prevention
Chinese Premier Li Qiang visited the Yujiang Laokou water conservancy emergency flood reduction project to review Guangxi water network planning. He also visited the Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal at Beibu Gulf to inspect smart port operations. Li stressed improving intelligent operation levels and developing multi-modal transport at the port. Chinese Premier Li Qiang conducted a research tour in Guangxi from April 29 to May 1. He said the canal's role in connecting river and sea transport. Li Qiang visited the Jinghai Bay Hongshulin Ecological Protection Zone to inquire about forest protection status. He said the importance of systematic governance and the protection of wetlands such as Hongshulin. Li noted that water ecology protection is a critical component of water network construction.
