Iranian Delegation Reaches Islamabad For Peace Talks
Negotiations for peace in the Middle East have reportedly reached a dead end. Former President Donald Trump canceled the American delegation's trip to Pakistan, where discussions with Iran were scheduled. The Iranian diplomatic leader has left Pakistan but may return on Sunday. US-Iran negotiations in Pakistan failed to produce a second round of talks following the departure of the Iranian Foreign Minister from Islamabad. Iranian President Pezeshkian said during a call with US representatives that Iran will not submit to pressure, threats, or blockades. Pezeshkian stated that the US must first remove obstacles such as sanctions to create a necessary environment for resolving issues. He maintained that Iran only seeks to protect its legitimate rights within the framework of international law.
