Neo-Nazi Group Activities Reported Near Dresden
A group identified as the 'Hochlandjugend,' consisting primarily of young neo-Nazis, is allegedly responsible for painting electricity boxes in black, white, and red in Dresden. The local municipal council has been notified but remains divided on how to address the group. A right-wing extremist group has vandalized memorials in the Schönfeld-Weißig area on the eastern edge of Dresden. Right-wing extremist youth activities have caused unrest in the local population. Incidents include the distribution of flyers and posters, as well as physical attacks and threats. Tom Keiling from the Center for Intercultural Understanding reported that since 2017 or 2018, the community has faced issues including the damage of a club bus. One photo depicts a workshop where the son works on mopeds, showing a Reichslagge hanging in the room.
