President Prabowo Promises Support For Workers
President Prabowo arrived at the Monas area at 08:35 WIB. He traveled in a Maung MV3 vehicle while greeting thousands of workers lined up at the Monument Nasional entrance. The President waved to the workers waiting at the site. President Prabowo greeted workers at the National Monument (Monas) during International Workers' Day celebrations. He was accompanied by several officials including State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Manpower Minister Yasarli, and Environment Minister Junuhur Hidayat. The group also included Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indrawati and Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Das Ahmad Kohar. President Prabowo addressed workers via a message on the presidency website. He promised to never remain indifferent to labor causes or silent while workers struggle to live with dignity. The statement comes amid discussions regarding labor interests in Jakarta.
