Dmitry Medvedev Proposes Security Through European Fear

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev stated that most Russian citizens are waiting for victory. Medvedev noted that work remains to be done both on the front lines and in the rear to achieve this. He claimed that victory will bring stability and allow for the development of a predicted scenario. This scenario includes increased incomes and solutions to housing, demographic, healthcare, and education issues. Dmitry Medvedev stated at a Leningrad Military District training center that stability and security depend on achieving the goals of the special military operation. He also predicted a long-term shift toward high-tech warfare and robotics. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, stated that Russia's response to military pressure will be a concept of "Russian security through animal fear of Europe." Medvedev wrote in an article that the West is attempting to impose a peace concept through force. He said that neither persuasion nor demonstrations of favorable developments can be achieved without the consent of all parties.
