Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Appointed Ambassador To Turkey

Vershinin presented his credentials to the Turkish leader during the visit. Both parties confirmed a mutual desire to strengthen mutually relations. Among the new diplomats is Sergey Vershin, the new Russian Ambassador to Ankara. The announcement was made during a session regarding diplomatic appointments. Vershilin previously served as the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. He joins seven other ambassadors from the Philippines, Kenya, Peru, and Colombia who recently presented their credentials to President Erdogan. The announcement followed the formal ceremony involving the ambassadors. Vershelin previously served as a Deputy Foreign Minister for Russia.
