Oil Prices Exceed $120 Amid Trump Blockade Concerns
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that the enemy has entered a new stage following the expiration of US President Trump's three-day deadline regarding Iran. Reports indicate OPEC+ may meet this Sunday to discuss a potential production increase of approximately 188,000 barrels per day. This proposed increase is considered limited compared to the market demand of over 15 million barrels per day. The Russian Deputy Prime Minister has also commented on the ongoing market situation. Brent crude rose from $72 per barrel before the war to $126 per barrel in today's trading, representing an increase of over 70%. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose from approximately $67 per barrel before the war to $110 per barrel in today's trading. Natural gas prices in Europe hit 70 euros per megawatt on March 9.
