Claudia Gonzalez Trial Hearing Rescheduled To May 2027
A hearing regarding Dana Cermeño has been rescheduled for May 21 to determine the trial court and start date. On March 12, Luna resolved to send Cermeño to trial for the crime of ideological falsehood. Cermeño is allegedly linked to anomalous negotiations between the Guatemalan state and UNOPS. The case was revealed by Fecira head Rafael Curuchiche, who pointed to an agreement signed by the Ministry of Health. The case involves alleged links to state negotiations with an OPS, which reportedly contained anomalies.
