Russian History Exam For Ninth Graders Delayed Until 2028
A new mandatory oral history exam for ninth-grade graduates is expected to take effect no earlier than 2028. The announcement was made by Muzaev. Rosobrnadzor head Anzor Muzaev announced that ninth-grade students in Russia will begin taking oral history exams starting in the 2027-2028 school year. The new format will not include highly complex questions, as tasks will be based on textbook materials. This follows previous statements from Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov regarding the implementation of oral examinations. The exam is planned to be conducted in February. The head of RosoboronNadzor reported on the implementation timeline. The initiative includes a proposal to create a publicly accessible database to provide methodological materials for students.
