China Calls For Stronger Basic Research
President Xi Jinping said the need for more forceful and practical measures to strengthen basic research during a symposium. China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. Chief Engineer and academician also commented on the speech. These actions, along with Japan's rapid militarization, deployment of offensive weapons, and push to revise its constitution, are seen as a serious threat to regional peace.
