Ebolejan Proposes 85 Percent Pension Cuts For Working Retirees
Prime Minister Lili Ebolejan recently declared that individuals receiving both a pension and a salary should renounce 85% of their pension if they wish to continue working. Approximately 20,000 pensioners are specifically targeted by these measures. The proposed changes are expected to be applied by the end of 2027. Alternatively, these individuals must resign from their state-sector positions. Implementation of these changes is expected by the end of 2027.
