Zaheer Davis Faces Court For Queens Park Shooting
An 18-year-old suspect faces murder charges in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Jaden Pierre. The incident occurred last week at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens. Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced murder charges against 18-year-old Zaheer David. The suspect is currently facing legal proceedings for the homicide. David was arraigned in Queens on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The defendant, identified as Davis, also faces charges of aggravated harassment for allegedly threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend. A separate conviction was announced for Mark Holdbrooks, a 69-year-old New Jersey man found guilty of first-degree murder.
