Two Children Airlifted After Washington Crash

A three-year-old and an eight-year-old were airlifted to Harborview after a vehicle hit a tree on 104th Avenue Southeast in the Leah Hill area. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. Police are investigating the relationship between the driver and the children. An Olympia family was also struck by a suspected DUI driver over the weekend while walking with their dog. The impact killed the dog and injured a man, whose 16-year-old son was reportedly holding the leash.
