Three Murder Suspects Held For Extradition To Chester County
Three suspects are in custody in Delaware awaiting extradition to Chester County following a mass shooting. One of the suspects was also injured in the incident, according to the District Attorney. The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. The gunfire killed 20-year-old Jawan Jeffries and wounded five other people. DeBerenas-Serobe stated that social media and public resources assisted in the investigation. The incident occurred on October 25 during Halloween celebrations. The charges were announced on Saturday. Authorities said the suspects brought guns to the event to carry out the planned robberies. Investigators believe the trio had no ties to Lincoln but had some familiarity with Jeffers. One suspect, Zekwius Morgan Thompson, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and faces aggravated assault charges, though officials say he is not linked to the other three defendants.
