Suspect Dies Following High-Speed Chase In Yelm
A suspect died at the scene following a high-speed chase in Yelm. The driver was traveling approximately 90 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone on a highway southeast of the area. Gunfire was exchanged when the suspect ran into a neighborhood. The chase ended with both a deputy and the suspect crashing near Morse Maryman Road in Olympia. One passenger was injured, but no deputies were hurt.
