One Killed, Five Injured In Lincoln University Shooting
Two men from Wilmington and one teenager, charged as an adult, face second-degree murder and additional charges related to a mass shooting. The incident occurred last October during Lincoln University's homecoming celebration in Chester County. One person died and six others were wounded, including one of the suspects. Investigators stated the suspects had no connection to the university and bragged about the incident in social media chats. The charges follow an investigation into the October event. Three individuals face murder charges following a shooting at Lincoln University on October 25th. Chester County DA Christopher DeBerenasirobe stated the suspects, William Sells (20), Karan Rollins (17), and Macaveli Valera (19), traveled from Wilmington, Delaware, to the campus. The group allegedly intended to rob people of jewelry when gunfire broke out around 9 p.m.
