EU Warns Of Potential Fuel Shortages
Former NBA player and coach Damon Jones is appearing in federal court in Brooklyn for back-to-back change of plea hearings. International Energy Agency Director Fatih Birol stated that the damage to the fossil fuel industry is difficult to repair. Major producing nations are preventing global consensus on a binding agenda to phase out oil, gas, and coal. The summit in northern France aims to bypass current consensus rules to address fossil fuel combustion as the primary cause of global warming. The impasse follows reports that COP climate negotiations are failing to advance concrete exit strategies from fossil fuels. The European Commissioner for Transport warned in a Sky TV interview that aviation kerosene supply issues could arise after June.
