DPW Impounds 5,209 Cars For Unpaid Citations
The Department of Public Works has impounded 5,209 cars year-to-date for unpaid citations totaling $27 million. Of these, 2,301 vehicles were classified as "high value scofflaws" for owing more than $3,000 in fines.
