Correction Officers Charged In Bronx Pepper Spray Incident
Prosecutors have indicted two New York City correction officers, Adrian Holder and Hawkins, in the Bronx. The indictment follows allegations of troubling interactions involving the use of the spray during their duties. Bronx District Attorney Darcelle Clark stated the men used pepper spray on individuals in custody three times in 2024 at the Otis Bantam Correctional Center. The officers allegedly filed reports to cover up the incidents.
