Chicago Area Faces Water Main Break And Power Outages
A water main break in Bartlett has closed southbound Bartlett Road at Stearns. High winds have left thousands of residents in Northwest Indiana without power, including areas in St. John. The Greater Chicago Food Depository is calling for state legislation to provide one-time cash assistance to individuals losing benefits. Vice President Daniel Perry stated the assistance would support both families and local grocers.
