Northern Powerhouse Rail Project Targets UK Connectivity
Work is underway to improve the rail network in northern England to address long-standing public transport issues. The first phase of the Northern Powerhouse Rail project focuses on improving train services between Sheffield and Leeds, Bradford and Leeds, and York and Leeds. The project also includes the construction of a new railway line connecting Liverpool and Manchester.
