New School Completed In Olpe Without Debt

Deutschlandfunk Olpe 13d Impact 3
A new school building in Olpe has been completed following a project initiated in 2014 to replace a structure dating back to 2006. Mayor Wolfgang Hell stated the municipality was able to fund the approximately 37 million Euro construction without taking on new debt. This was made possible by a favorable tax revenue situation in recent years. The project had previously faced threats of cancellation in 2020 due to high costs.
