China Predicts May Day Charging Peak
New energy vehicles are expected to account for a portion of daily traffic during the upcoming holiday period. The initiative targets commercial projects, second garages, and older residential communities to improve space and power efficiency. One charging space can see efficiency increases of three to four times. The project aims to improve the green attributes and long-term asset value of urban developments. Liu Limin, deputy general manager of the division, stated that the initiative aims to increase charging space efficiency by three to four times. The deployment targets three primary scenarios: commercial projects and high-rise buildings to address parking availability, secondary garages to manage power expansion and construction constraints, and older residential communities to resolve existing charging difficulties.
