Washington DC Chronic Absenteeism Rate Drops To 18.6 Percent
Chronic absenteeism across the Washington DC school district dropped to 18.6 percent this year, down from 20 percent previously. District officials stated the trend is moving in the right direction. However, officials also noted that too many students continue to miss class time.
