California Inmates Train As Firefighters
A firehouse within the Madera County Jail in California is home to 12 incarcerated women who are training and working as firefighters. The facility, known as Station 5 CCWF, includes a bunk room, kitchen, and captain's office, all within the prison's barbed wire fence.
