Russian Forces Advance In Eastern Ukraine

President Vladimir Putin was presented with a prototype of an armored ambulance designed for operation in Russia's border regions at the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine in Moscow. The vehicle was developed specifically to protect medical personnel. Putin is also expected to remotely open new modular emergency medical facilities in various regions via video link. The President will also meet with Health Minister Mikhail Murashko. Last year, more than 37 million calls were made to ambulance services. Approximately 13 million of those calls resulted in patient evacuations to medical facilities. A regional-level emergency mode has been declared following an incident involving military equipment. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Vostok grouping units continued advancing in the Pokrovskoye, Orly, Lesnaya, Barvynivka, Novosilivka, and Vozdvizhenka areas. Russian units reported striking three Ukrainian brigades and two regiments in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, resulting in 260 personnel losses and one armored vehicle lost by the opponent.
