Appeals Court Increases Sentence For Vastaamo Hacker
Alexandri Kiwi-Maki has filed an appeal before the Supreme Court regarding his conviction for hacking the psychotherapy center Vastaamo. The Helsinki District Court found Kiwi-Maki guilty of hacking the center and attempting to extort both patients and the institution using stolen data. An appeals court had previously increased his sentence to nearly seven years earlier this year.
