A magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the Volcano Islands region of Japan. The tremor had a depth of 157.426 kilometers. This event follows a smaller M3.7 earthquake near Petersville, Alaska. The tremor occurred at a depth of approximately 157.4 km. A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded in Northern Colombia. This event is similar to a previously reported earthquake near Japan's Volcano Islands. The Pokemon Company is contributing to the reconstruction of infrastructure on the Noto Peninsula in Japan, following the 2024 earthquake.
