German Dog Finds 4 Million Hryvnia
A German service dog discovered a large sum of cash belonging to a resident in Zakarpattia. The woman was attempting to transfer currency without documentation totaling nearly 4 million hryvnia. Customs officials allowed her to keep a portion of the funds but seized the remainder due to violations. The customs service reported that canine teams have identified over 200 cases of illegal cross-border transport this year, primarily involving drugs and money.
