Scammers Use AI To Mimic Communications

Polskie Radio 24 Warsaw 15d Impact 5
Scammers are utilizing artificial intelligence to create professional-looking content that mimics official communications from institutions such as the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). These fraudulent messages offer seniors additional pension programs to gain trust. While elderly individuals are primary targets, younger people are also increasingly falling victim to these schemes. Karol Jagielski noted that the AI-generated content is designed to look highly authentic to deceive victims. The phenomenon is being monitored in Warsaw.
