Suspect Arrested In Limburg Animal Neglect Case
Animal inspectors in Limburg are receiving an increasing number of reports regarding animal neglect. Two inspectors are currently responsible for managing the workload in the region. Officials suggest the rise in reports may be linked to pets acquired during the COVID-19 pandemic that no longer fit owners' lifestyles. Police discovered an animal breeding operation containing approximately 150 plants in a home in Limburg this morning. Authorities entered the residence and immediately arrested one suspect. A second suspect is scheduled to be interrogated at a later time. Police seized and destroyed the plants and equipment.
