German Authorities Seize 2.5 Million Euros
German authorities have launched one of the largest operations in the country's history to combat biker gang criminality. Officials deployed officers across 28 cities to search more than 50 locations. The operation follows a recent ban on the Health Angels association in Leverkusen. Special forces are participating in the raids, according to the report. Authorities also banned a Health Angels branch in Leverkusen following the discovery of numerous motorcycles. Investigations are ongoing regarding motorcycle ownership, weapons, and potential drug cultivation. Investigators discovered weapons and drugs during a raid on the Health Angels group in North Rhine-Westphalia. Interior Minister Reul stated that assets worth up to 2.5 million euros were seized. There are currently 44 suspects involved in the case.
