Bus Collision Near Zgierz Causes Multiple Casualties
A bus operated by a well-known carrier struck a large animal on national road number 9 near Zgierz over a week ago at night. Despite damage, the driver decided to continue the journey to Warsaw with a shattered and dented windshield. A bus traveling on the Amsterdam to Warsaw route sustained damage following a collision with an animal. Aleksandra Sobera from the carrier's press office confirmed the vehicle suffered damage. The driver attempted to continue the journey despite the damage, which authorities noted poses a safety risk. Professional drivers are expected to adhere to higher safety standards to prevent incidents such as windows falling out due to structural stress. A passenger contacted police immediately after the driver continued driving despite the incident. Police patrols arrived at the scene after the bus had already departed.
