Scammers in Ukraine are using photos from other websites and different countries to create fake long-term rental listings. The source advises individuals to verify information by using reverse image searches to check if photos have been used in other advertisements. This practice creates a false sense of security for potential renters. A report indicates that photos are being used in other advertisements or potentially for apartments elsewhere. Expert Roman Derezenko from the Detector Media NGO warned that documents and passports are easily forged or stolen to gain access to victims. The practice involves using these materials to create fraudulent property listings.
