Russia Sees Increased Tourism For May Holidays
A broadcast detailed a 'heroic' route from Moscow to Rzhev and back, along with a Moscow-Volgograd-Moscow route. Anna Mikhailova, head of excursion tourism development at the 'Turist' company, stated that a 4-day route for a small group of approximately 15 people would cost around 24,000 rubles per person. This price includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and excursion services along the route. Business FM and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) confirmed an increase in tourist flow for the May holidays, particularly to places of military glory within Russia. Popular destinations include Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Sevastopol, Kaliningrad, and Smolensk. Additionally, trips to Brest in Belarus are noted as popular among families, children, and schoolchildren.
