Ukrainian Fraud Scheme Defrauds Citizens
A fraudulent scheme operating under the guise of a state aid program has been uncovered in Ukraine. The perpetrators created fake websites and used social media to steal banking information, defrauding at least 20 individuals, primarily internally displaced persons, of approximately 5 million hryvnias. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported the findings.
