Ukraine Detains Suspects in Defense Contract Scam
Law enforcement in Ukraine has detained suspects involved in laundering approximately 580 million Ukrainian hryvnias. The origin of the drones involved in the case is under investigation. The head of the agency reminded listeners of a statement by Director-General Rafael Grossi, who warned that strikes on or near nuclear power plants could threaten nuclear safety. The agency assured that its team would investigate the incident and continue to monitor the situation. Six reactors at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant are currently in a shutdown state.
