Trampolines Damaged by Metal Pollers in Hamburg
A truck rolled over trampolines located at Hamburg's Jungfernstieg. City center representatives had criticized the location of the installation, calling them 'stumbling blocks.' The trampolines were intended as a children's attraction but had a difficult start. The dispute over the location appears to be settled, and the trampolines will remain in place. Eight metal bollards will be erected to protect trampolines from further damage in Hamburg. The district office considers this a reasonable compromise that considers all interests. The operator association also expressed a similar opinion. After repairs are completed, the trampolines will be reopened, possibly by the end of next week.
