High-Volume Sound Causes Panic in Istanbul Cafe
A loud noise from a passing vehicle caused panic among customers in a cafe in Istanbul's Sultan Gazi district. Patrons mistook the sound for an earthquake, leading them to flee the cafe in fear. Some customers abandoned their games, while others knocked over chairs in their haste to escape. A tense situation erupted in a cafe on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, with chairs reportedly flying amidst the panic. Customers rushed out of the cafe in fear. The source of the sound was later identified as music from a vehicle, not seismic activity.
