Prosecutor Condemns Murder Of Obando Council President
Authorities in Valle del Cauca increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of Mileidi Villada to 100 million pesos. Villada, the current president of the Obando Municipal Council, was attacked around 3:00 PM. Police are implementing a 'plan candado' (lockdown plan) to locate the perpetrators. Colombia's Attorney General, Gregorio Enlaz, condemned the murder of Mileidy Villada González, the president of the Obando Municipal Council. Enlaz expressed solidarity with the victim's family and friends. He stated that such actions have no justification and called on authorities to advance investigations to identify those responsible.
