Family Escapes Bushfire With Minor Injuries
A father and four children escaped a fire in Queensland and are receiving treatment at a hospital. Police report the family members are being treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns but are otherwise physically okay. Approximately 50 firefighters were on the scene during the morning response. The RFS Commissioner noted that most responders involved in the incident are locals.
