Leipzig Techno Club Faces Potential Insolvency

Club Ostend is seeking 65,000 euros to continue construction at Lindenauer Hafen in western Leipzig. The site currently consists of dilapidated industrial halls and rusted structures. Operator efforts to secure funding are ongoing to resolve the current development impasse. Philipp Lakomi reported on the status of the project at the industrial site. The site previously required cleanup due to mineral oil contamination on the walls and grounds. The vision for the industrial space includes converting large halls into venues for concerts. The project involves opening the area to the public for events. A club in Leipzig is seeking 65,000 Euros to develop an old tank depot at the Lindenau Harbor. Management stated that without changes, the club may head toward insolvency because they cannot generate enough income from the outdoor areas. The club is currently attempting to sell Solitickets to mitigate the situation.
