Coyote Swam Two Miles To Alcatraz Island
A coyote was observed crawling onto Alcatraz Island in the San Francisco Bay. Wildlife ecologist Brett Furness from the Department of Fish and Wildlife and researchers from UC Davis determined the animal swam approximately two miles from Angel Island.
