Hiker Dies In Japanese Mountain Accident
Two men, aged 30 and 22, died during a climbing expedition in Japan's Asuka Mountains. According to reports, one man died and the other was rescued. The authorities are investigating the circumstances of the rescue and death. Two male hikers from Hong Kong died in a snowfield accident on Mount Asuka in Japan. Two Hong Kong men encountered danger in the snow at the foot of Mt. Mountain expert Zhong Jianmin stated on RTHK's "Millennium Era" program that the accident site is very dangerous and the mountain difficulty is intermediate. He said the importance of weather conditions and appropriate equipment for climbing. Zhong Jianmin noted that most people climb in the summer or September. He could not confirm if the accident was related to avalanches, stating that avalanche safety equipment is expensive and waterproof.
