Gift of Life Donor Dash Starts in Philadelphia
The 29th annual Gift of Life Donor Dash commenced at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia. The event honored Garrett Nichols, a 21-year-old Westchester University student, for his tissue donation. Nichols' decision directly saved three lives and hundreds of others through his donation. The Gift of Life organization has coordinated over 15,000 donations to date.
