Fehmarnbelt Tunnel Section Placed In Baltic Sea
The first segment of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel was placed on the Baltic seabed today. The section measures over 200 meters in length and 40 meters in width. It contains four tubes designed for future automobile and train transit.
